Sir,
I have the honour to report with much regret
the death of Mr. E. W. Dawson, a Revenue Officer in the service of this Government, whose death took place at the Government Civil Hospital on the 21st. April, 1917, after an operation for appendicitis. A report by the Superintendent, Government Civil Hospital, is enclosed.
Mr. Dawson whose wife and family are residents
of the Colony has not registered any relatives in England since his marriage and it was therefore not considered necessary to telegraph the news of his denth.
